Funeral services for Mr. J.D. Hardy, 82 ,of Aimwell, LA will be held at New Life Pentecostal Church , Manifest. La on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Bro. David Poole and Bro. Norris Poole officiating. Interment will follow at Andrews Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville. Mr. Hardy was born April 07, 1924 in Aimwell, LA and passed away Tuesday March 27, 2007 at LaSalle General Hospital Jena. He was a Cattleman, a Logger and a horse trader. He was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church of Manifest, La. He was preceded in Death by: Wife-Joyce Crawley Hardy Son-Tommy Smith Father-John Hardy Mother-Mary Ashley Hardy 3 Brother-Robert Hardy, J.R. Hardy and Milton Posey 5 Sister-Sue Zeagler, Berenice Ashley, Sudie Bradley, Bea Molina, and Anice Hardy Survivors include: Wife-Rubye Hardy of Aimwell, La. Son-RL and Pam Hardy of Dry Prong,La Son-James and his wife Linda Hardy of Jena, La. Son-George and his wife Iris Hardy of Jonesville, La. Son-David Branch of Monticello, Miss. Son-Gene and his wife Debra Branch of Brandon, Miss. Son-Jimmy and his wife Mimi Smith of Brookhaven, Miss. Son-John Hardy of Harrisonburg, La. Daughter-Valorie Hardy Fogleman of Pineville, La. Daughter-Dianne Smith Warwick of Pelahitchie, Miss. Daughter-Sue and her husband Derwood Cotten of Harrisonburg, La. Daughter-Shaunda and her husband Steve Minton of Sicily Island, La. Daughter- Martha and her husband Robert Dunn of Harrisonburg, La. Brother-Kenneth Posey of Jena, La. Sister-in-law- Opal Brooks Nephew- Rodney Irby and Niece Tam Hudnall He was also survived by 29 grandchildren 34 great grandchildren The Pallbearers will be Barry Rainey, Perry Aplin, Ronnie Posey, Russell Posey, Chuck Posey and Mark Posey The Honorary Pallbearer will be Harvey King, Sam Mason, K.W. Thomas and Jerry Tarver, Lionel Posey, Terry Posey and Matthew Posey. Family will recieve friends on Thursday March 29, 2007 from 5PM until at New Life Pentecostal Church, Manifest, La. The family will receive friends at New Life Pentecostal Church from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Thursday, March 29, 2007.
