Funeral services for James Dennis "J.D." Lucas, 84 of Jonesville, LA will be held at Utility Baptist Church on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 2 PM with Bro. James Foster, Bro. Bryan Taylor, Bro. jessie Ray Littleton and Bro. Junior Trisler officiating. Interment will follow at Lucas Family Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. James Lucas was born on December 19, 1927 in Glade, La and passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria. J.D. was a residence of Jonesville, Owned and operated the Gulf Station in Jonesville and J.D. Lucas Contractors. Mr. Lucas had one Hobby which was Work. He served his country in the United States Army.
