Funeral services for Alice " Linda" Clingan, 85 of Jonesville,LA will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jonesville on Monday, August 06, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Mickey Hudnall, Bro. Dustin Robertson and Bro. David Richmond officiating. Internment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Rhinehart, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville. Linda Clingan was born on Friday, November 04, 1932 in Utility, LA. and passed away Friday, August 03, 2018 in Jonesville, LA. She was a resident of Jonesville, lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and worked in the lunch room at Block High School. Linda was an avid Gardner, a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother, who loved to cook for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by Father- Houston O. Boyd Sr. Mother- Martha Oneal Boyd Husband- Curtis Doughty Grandson- Israel Boothe 4 Brothers- Lloyd Boyd, H.O. Boyd Jr., A.D. Boyd and Joe Boyd 2 Sisters- Doris Hennigan and Olivia Boyd Wiley She is survived by Husband- Willie "Bud" Clingan of Jonesville, LA Son- Michael Doughty and his wife Eileen of Jena, LA Daughter- Janet Doughty Sanson and her husband Alvin of Jonesville, LA Daughter- Amy Doughty Westbrooks and her husband Leroy of Jena, LA Son- Ernie Clingan and his wife Lisa of Gonzales, LA Daughter- Julie Clingan McCarthy and her husband Stevie of Jonesville, LA Brother- Billy Boyd and his wife Helen of Jonesville, LA Sister- Mary Wanda Boyd Wiggins of Jonesville, LA Sister- Thelma Boyd Creel and her husband Larry of Jonesville, LA Sister-in-law- Corrine Morris Boyd of Jonesville, LA Sister-in-law-Sarah Brown Boyd of Minden, LA 14 Grandchildren- Shane Boothe, Rebecca Boothe, Jennifer Doughty Perry, Dana Boothe Skinner, Mikey Doughty, Christopher McCarthy, Alison McCarthy, Katie Clingan, Emily Clingan, Bobby White, Alice Sanson, Shana Westbrooks Deville, Chelsa Westbrooks McCormick and Mark Borden.
