Funeral services for Mr. Ellis Taylor "ET", 76, of Ferriday, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home, Ferriday, La. on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 3:30 PM with Bro Don Bush and Bro. Preston Holder officiating. Interment will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday. Mr. Taylor was born February 27, 1933 in Crowville, LA and passed away Thursday October 22, 2009 at Natchez Community Hospital. Mr. Ellis retired from Ashland Pipeline, Owned and operated Taylor Texaco and worked for Concordia Parish Sheriffs Office . He was a Deacon for the Ridgecrest Baptist Church and he Served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr Ellis was an Avid Hunter and Fisherman and treasured his family and friends. He was preceded in Death by: Father-Walter Taylor Mother-Jessie Arnold Taylor 4 Sisters-Lavern Gardner,Dorothy Tillison, Mae Esters and Lavada Coleman 4 Brothers-WC Taylor, CD Taylor, Leonard Taylor and Ernest Taylor Daughter in law-Dianne Taylor Survivors include: Wife of 56 Years-Virgie Hawkins Taylor of Ferriday, La. Son-Randy and his wife Letha Taylor of Vidalia, La. Son-David and the late Dianne Taylor of Vidalia, La. Daughter-Connie and her husband William Seyfarth of Ferriday, La. Daughter-Tammy Taylor of Ferriday, La. 3 Sisters-Beatrice Netherland, Katherine Newsom and Elaine McGuffee 2 Brothers-Alson Taylor and Jimmy Taylor 12 Grandchidren-Melissa and her husband Paul Cangemi, Heath and his wife Rebecca Seyfarth, Stephanie and her husband Brent Henslee, Jason and his wife Ashley Taylor, Abby Taylor, Shane Seyfarth, Dana and her husband Chris McGivaren, Janee' Arnold, Jessica and John Davis, Amanda Cummings, and Haley Kepper 18 Great grandchildren-Storm Cangemi ,Cole Cangemi, Katie Cangemi, Randy Henslee ,Amie and Chase Henslee, Cee Jay Taylor, Conner Taylor, Caden Taylor, Anna Belle Taylor, Peyton McGivaren, Rachel McGivaren, Kristyn Arnold, Jordan Arnold, Landon Seyfarth, Macy Seyfarth, Jonah and Jaxon Davis.
