Louise Price Randall

A “century celebration” of Louise Price Randall’s life (100 years and 8 months old) of Harrisonburg, LA will be held 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Harrisonburg on Friday, July 8, 2011 with the Revs. Cory Bruce, Clyde Grammon, Lionel Hatten, and Ralph Stutson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Jonesville. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Harrisonburg beginning at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 7, 2011. Mrs. Randall was born on November 1, 1910 in White Sulpher Springs LaSalle Parish, LA. to Leon and Mary Price. She passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 in Jonesville. She lived most of her life in Harrisonburg. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Harrisonburg. In her day she enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, fishing, and canning. She supported her husband in their businesses and was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lamar Edgar Randall; two sons, Charles Lamar and Otis Earl Randall; her parents; four brothers; and six sisters. Survivors include her son, Lonnie Gene Randall and wife, Hilda of Youngsville, La.; one daughter, Helen Louise Bowman and husband, Jerry of Baton Rouge; special granddaughter, Katherine Louise Boyd of West Monroe; seven grandchildren, Garlen and Cliff Randall both of Monterey, Lon Randall of Youngsville, La., John Randall of Sugarland Texas, Charlene Randall Kojorike of Dover, Delaware, Ron Randall of Jena, La., and Amanda Bowman Martin of Austin, Texas; great-grandchildren, Dana Ramsey Mullins of Monroe, La. Rowdy Randall of Jena, La., Tyler and Jacob Randall of Youngsville, La., Mark and Brett Randall of Sugarland, Texas, Hunter Randall of Monterey, La.; two great-great-grandchildren, Kincade and Kathryn Grace Mullins of Monroe, La.; and one sister, Ida Lea Warner of New Bruensfels, Texas; two daughters-in-law, Susan Broussard Randall and Freida Randall; and numerous nieces and nephews. The pallbearers will be Garlen Randall, Lon Randall, Cliff Randall, Hunter Randall, Mike Mullins, and Dean Cannady. Honorary pallbearers will be the masons of Harrisonburg Masonic Lodge. The family wishes to thank the Columns in Jonesville, La., Dr. William Coney, Hospice Compassus, Bro. Cory Bruce, and the members of Harrisonburg First Baptist for their love and support. A special thanks to David and Jean E. Mitchell. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be given to Harrisonburg Baptist Church, Shriner’s Hospital in Shreveport, LA, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital of Memphis, TN.
