Ken Ensminger officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Natchez, MS, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Vernon Byrnes was born on Wednesday, May 06, 1931 in Franklin Parish, LA. and passed away Sunday, March 04, 2018 at Merit Health in Natchez MS.. He was a resident of Natchez, worked in the Oil Field with over 45 years of service, retiring as a Driller and Tool pusher for PSI and Costal Service. He loved camping, raising Cattle and going to thrift stores, but the true love was his family. He was preceded in death by Father- Billy H. Byrnes Mother- Frances Prudhomme Byrnes 3 Brothers- Lee T. Byrnes, George Byrnes and Buddy Byrnes Sister- Marie Whittington Daughter-in-Law- Vicki Crooks Byrnes He is survived by Wife of 65 years- Margie Herron Byrnes of Natchez, MS Son- Billy Byrnes and his wife Linda of Vidalia, LA Son- Bobby Byrnes of Vidalia, LA Sister- Gloria Nell Polk of Winnsboro, LA Grandson- Josh Byrnes 4 Granddaughters- Summer McJimsey and her husband Brian, Tina Taliaferro and her husband Trey, Rhonda Anglin and Caitlin Byrnes 10 Great-Grandchildren- Zach, Trey, Brittany, Kensley, Amber, Brad, Tabatha, Colby, Brandon and Landon 4 Great-Great Grandchildren- Jaiden, Hazel Grace, Eli and Elijah 2 Very Special Neighbors- Frankie Case and Denise Case He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, Family and friends. Pallbeares will be Zach Riddick, Trey Riddick, Josh Byrnes, Landon Thompson, Brandon Thompson and Jim Whittington Honorary Pallbearers will be Bo Nettles, Tommy Breithaupt and Brian McJimsey.
