Funeral services for Mrs. Billie McClure, 73, of Jonesville, LA will be held at First Baptist Church of Jonesville on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Gary Norris, Bro. Marshall Douglas and Bro. Paul Piro officiating. Interment will follow at Harrisonburg Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Jonesville. Mrs. Billie McClure was born on October 12, 1939 in Harrisonburg, LA and passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at her home in Jonesville. She was a long time active member of First Baptist Church of Jonesville, where she served as the church secretary, pre-school director, WMU director, and was involved in the coordination of the Operation Christmas Child Project for the Ouachita Baptist Association, and also served as a tutor at The Bread Crumb. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, they were the “Light of her Life”. She loved to crochet and she made afghans and Christmas ornaments for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was loved by everyone who met her and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by: Father-James Thomas Stone Mother-Fronnie Jones Stone 2 Brothers-Joe "Cowboy" Stone and James Stone Brother-in-Law-Kaga McClure Survivors include: Husband of 55 years-Carl McClure of Jonesville, LA 4 Daughters-Carla McClure of Jonesville, LA Kristine Wiley and husband Dalton of Vidalia, LA Bettye Hutchins and husband Glendon, Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX Patricia Bonner and husband Kevin of West Monroe, LA 2 Brothers-Cuny Stone and wife Kathy of Jonesville, LA Boyce Stone and wife Sharon of Winnsboro, LA 2 Sisters-Annie McClure of Jonesville, LA Becky Nichols and husband Ricky of Winnsboro, LA Grandchildren-Lauren, Leslie and husband Anthony, Anthony and wife Shana, Ethan, Rachel and husband Bruce, Caitlin, Brooke, and Ella. 10 Great-Grandchildren 2 Sisters-in-Law-Dottie Stone and Judy Stone Numerous nieces and nephews The deacons of First Baptist Church of Jonesville will serve as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Jonesville from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
