Gary Howington, Bro. Jeremy Howington and Bro. James Johnson officiating. Internment will follow at Dewey Cemetery, Monterey, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Coney Bryan was born on Tuesday, June 17, 1924 in Acme, LA. and passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Natchez Regional Medical Center. He was a resident of Ridgecrest and a member of Pentecostals of The Miss-Lou. Coney was an avid fisherman and hunter throughout his lifetime. He retired from International Paper after 37 years of service and became a full time pleasure Fisherman and Hunter. Mr. Bryan proudly served his Country in the United State Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by: Father- Adolph Bryan Mother- Julia Runnels Bryan Wife- Annie Laura Bryan 3 Brothers- Julius Bryan, Calvin Bryan and Leslie Bryan 7- Sisters- Twin sister- Mattie Murriel Barrett, Verna Lee Smith, Gertie Beaubouef, Vertie Beaubouef, Lillian Terrell, Maudel Flaherty and Estelle Bryan He is survived by: Wife- Bernice Miles Bryan of Ridgecrest, LA Son- Caroyl Bryan and wife Marlyn of Boyce, LA Son- Gene Bryan and wife Violet of Eugene, OR Son- Darrell Bryan and wife Phyllis of Aimwell, LA Son- Doyle Bryan and wife Bertha of Vidalia, LA Daughter- Sherrie Brister and husband Dan of Vidalia, LA Daughter- Diane Kerrigan and husband Joey of Natchez, MS Step-Son- Tony Harper and wife Stephanie of Monterey, LA Step-Daughter- Donna Stringer of Vidalia, LA Step-Daughter- Jean Stringer of Vidalia, LA Step-Daughter- Alaine Brunson and husband Delloyd of Dry Prong, LA Sister- Sadie Lipsey of Monterey, LA He is also survived by 27 Grandchildren, 42 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Chase Bryan, Tristan Weatherly, Jeremy Mcelwee, Cameron Boyette, Tyler Sandifer, Tony Harper and Everette Harper Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Green, Jerry Lipsey, Lanny Lipsey and Ricky Bryan The family will receive friends at Pentecostals of The Miss Lou from 5:00 PM til 9:00 PM, Friday, July 24, 2015.
