Larry Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow at Natchez City Cemetery, Natchez, MS, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Roy Dan Wagoner, Sr. was born on Monday, July 08, 1929 in West Monroe, LA. and passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Ferriday, La. He was a resident of Ferriday and a member of Westside Baptist Chruch . Mr. Wagoner was a member of the Masonic Lodge #305 in Vidalia, LA, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the United Transportation Union. He retired from Missouri/Union Pacific Railroad with over 38 years of service and was owner and operator of Wagoner Trucking for 16 years. He was preceded in death by Father- C.P. Wagoner Mother- Gartha Owens Wagoner Daughter- Kitty Rose Wagoner Hula 2 Sisters- Elnora Avery and Lenore Scalfano 3 Brothers- C.P. Wagoner Jr., Marshall Dean Wagoner and Julius Wagoner He is survived by His wife of 68 years- Ivie Johnson Wagoner of Ferriday, LA Son- Roy Dan Wagoner Jr. and his wife Brenda of West Monroe, LA Son- Terry Michael Wagoner Sr. and his wife Margaret of Natchez, MS Son- Russell Gene Wagoner Sr. and his wife Angela of Vidalia, LA Son- Larry Kyle Wagoner Sr. and his wife Jean of Ferriday, LA Sister- LaVerne Hargrove of Forney, TX Brother- Kenny Wagoner and his wife Millie of Natchez, MS He is also survived by 24 Grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Kyle Wagoner, Matt Bowman, Lance Hula, Rusty Wagoner, Rory Wagoner, Michael Wagoner and his nephews Cody Wagoner and Casey Wagoner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Baron, Charles Cain, Paul Harris, Charlie Wood, William Seyfarth, Derrick Dungan and Barry Kraker The family will receive friends at Ridgecrest Baptist Church from 11:30 AM til 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 22, 2017.
